Questions about arrival and check-in/check-out

What are the check-in and check-out times at Hotel Kungsträdgården?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

How do I get to Hotel Kungsträdgården from Arlanda Airport?
You can take a taxi (approximately 40 minutes), the Arlanda Express to Stockholm Central Station which takes 20 minutes (followed by a 10-minute walk or a short taxi ride), or book a private transfer.

Does Hotel Kungsträdgården offer airport transfers?
Yes, we can arrange private airport transfers for an additional fee. Please contact us in advance to book. Click the link below to go to the contact page.

What parking options are available near Hotel Kungsträdgården?
The nearest parking garage is Gallerian (Stockholm Parkering), where parking is always available. Current rates can be found at www.stockholmparkering.se/gallerian. To reach Hotel Kungsträdgården from the garage, take the exit towards Regeringsgatan and walk straight across the street into Kocksgränd. You can also pre-book parking at NK Parkering, located approximately 200 metres from the hotel.

Does Hotel Kungsträdgården offer rooms with twin beds?
Our small double rooms and double rooms have twin beds and can be booked subject to availability.

Do you offer extra beds or cots?
We do not offer extra beds, however our Superior Family Room features one double bed and one sofa bed that can be made up for one adult or two small children. Early booking is recommended as availability is limited. Cots for children up to 18 months are available and can be booked in the Queen Superior, King de Luxe and Junior Suite categories. Early booking is recommended as the number of cots is limited.

How often do you change bed linen?
We care about the environment and change bed linen every three days. If you are staying longer and don’t need your linen changed, please let Housekeeping know so we can avoid unnecessary changes.

Are there accessible rooms and facilities?
Yes, we offer accessible rooms and facilities. Please contact us in advance and we will make sure your needs are met.

Does Hotel Kungsträdgården have a restaurant?
Yes, our restaurant Brasserie Makalös is located in our glass-covered courtyard, beneath a spectacular crystal chandelier.

Does Hotel Kungsträdgården allow pets?
Pets are not permitted. We do allow guide dogs, and documentation will be required at check-in.

Is smoking allowed at Hotel Kungsträdgården?
Hotel Kungsträdgården is entirely non-smoking. If smoking occurs in a room, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee and compensation for any loss of revenue.

Does Hotel Kungsträdgården have its own gym?
We have a fully equipped gym as well as separate saunas for men and women. The gym and saunas are open around the clock and are available for guests to use freely during their stay. We do not have our own spa, but we are happy to recommend spa facilities within walking distance of the hotel.

Does Hotel Kungsträdgården have electric vehicle charging stations?
We do not have public charging stations on site, but charging is available in the Gallerian parking garage.

How do you get around Stockholm?
We recommend taking the time to explore Stockholm on foot to enjoy everything the city has to offer. If you want to get around a little faster, electric bikes are available to rent, or you can use the well-developed public transport network. When did Hotel Kungsträdgården open and what was the building previously used for?
Hotel Kungsträdgården opened in 2015 and is located in a historic building dating from 1754, originally built as a private residence. The building has been carefully restored and transformed into a modern boutique hotel that retains its historic character.
