The King's Garden provides guests with a number of places in which they can relax and unwind, in addition to their rooms. As well as our wine bar, gym with accompanying sauna and Brasserie Makalös restaurant, there are three further fantastic areas to take a look at or book - the study, the private wine cellar and the magnificent champagne bar.

The Study

FOR TRANQUIL MOMENTS OR GRAND PLANS

The study is a place that fascinates many people, with its big windows, an open fireplace and Gustavian style furniture. The study can be used by all hotel guests, although it is sometimes booked for events and is therefore closed on such days. The room can be booked for groups of up to 16 people and is perfect for events such as private breakfasts and press conferences. Please contact the hotel’s reservation if you want to book the study, and we will help you with all the arrangements.

Champagne Bar

ONE OF THE CITY’S LARGEST CHANDELIERS

The hotel’s champagne bar, a perfect place for those who want to work from the hotel for a while, or just enjoy a glass of champagne, is located underneath the enormous crystal chandelier, which weighs more than 400 kilos and has more than 11,000 hand-bound prisms. Daylight streams through the courtyard’s glass roof and is refracted by the chandelier, creating stunning effects from sunrise to sunset.

Wine cellar

PRIVATE MEETINGS AND EVENTS

The hotel’s wine cellar is located one floor below ground level. It has a large, handmade solid oak table, with accompanying chairs, and is thus perfect for private meetings for both businesses and individuals. If you are planning your next board meeting or some other private gathering, just contact the hotel reservation and we will assist you.
